Buy Art
Here you can see some of my work, raku fired ceramics, compositions with varying materials; contemporary art. All is handmade, all is unique.
You can find me at the Spui in Amsterdam on sunday, in the blue banner you see when. If you want something shipped I will find out the price of shipping when your sculpture has been appropriately packed. I do not ship in the EU outside NL, for too complicated regulations. You can also pick up your sculpture at my studio -then you get to see more of my work!-.
I am because you are
I am because you are
‘I am because you are’ the large version. About who we are and how we always are connected to other people. Questions like’ who’s in charge’, ‘ who rules’, ‘who is my counterpart’, ‘at the cost of whom’ are all around. BLM, how the rich want to have all kinds of cheap stuff on the cost of people far away or just simply ‘others’ and at the cost of the Earth are also in this sculpture for me. The stand is made of an old writing desk that has been rearranged. It is filled with marbles. So also loosing your marbles and ‘het spel en de knikkers’ (the game and the gain, roughly translated) as well as the crystal ball are in with this sculpture. Plus the writing desk adds thinking, writing laws, taking decisions. More pictures will be added soon.
